Korumburra Medical Centre welcomes all new patients to our clinic.

BULK BILLING (as of November 1st 2025)
Most of our consultations are bulk billed if you have a valid Medicare card.
However, certain consultations and procedures will incur an out-of-pocket fee. If you are unsure, please inquire within the clinic.
The following consultations are not eligible for a Medicare rebate, and you will be required to pay the full amount at the time of consultation:

AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY NUMBER
If urgent medical attention is required out of clinic hours, please call 000. Or call (03) 5654 2753 and your call will be triaged by the Korumburra Hospital. You can also present to Leongatha urgent care at the hospital or nearest Emergency Department (Wonthaggi or Warragul)
**PLEASE NOTE**
There is no doctor available at the clinic from 5:30pm onwards, please present to Leongatha urgent care or an ED after 5:30pm if required
SATURDAY MORNING CLINIC
Our Saturday clinics are a reduced service, as we are open from 9am-12pm.
There is only one doctor on duty in the clinic and no nurse available. Limited appointments can be pre-booked, otherwise appointments are triaged on the day.
Our front door is locked until the doctor is ready for the patient and we ask that you call from the car to let reception know you have arrived.

The Korumburra Medical Centre is an AGPAL Accredited Practice.
To achieve accreditation, a practice team works over a 12-month period to implement the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Standards for general practices. The RACGP Standards provide a recognized national benchmark for general practices and services, and a template for quality care and risk management.
