PHONE CONSULTATIONS
As of May 1st 2023, ALL phone consults are privately billed. This is done through the hotdoc app. You will need to enter credit card details on the app and once you have had your consult with the doctor is when the money will come out of your account.
To be eligible for a phone consult you need to have been seen face to face with a doctor here in the last 12 months. Any queries, please call reception to discuss 03 5655 1355
DRESSINGS
A dressing fee will be charged in addition to a consult fee. A basic dressing will cost $20, a complex dressing may be more. Patients are welcome to purchase appropriate dressings directly from the pharmacy if you choose to do so. Please note, due to Medicare legislation regarding the charging of private fees, patients who are normally bulk billed will be charged the rebate amount for the associated consultation fee rather than being bulk billed at the time of billing the dressing fee and will need to be paid in full. Medicare will refund the rebate amount directly to the patient so there will not be an out of pocket expense for the consultation fee.​
BULK BILLING
Pensioner, Healthcare Card Holders and people 15 years of age and under will be Bulk Billed for an in person appointment.
FEES INFORMATION
Fees are based on those recommended by the Australian Medical Association. The doctors provide significant discounts to holders of a health care card and pensioners.
​If your medical care is placing you in financial difficulties please discuss this with your doctor, who may then reduce your account.
​Mastercard and Visa are accepted and EFTPOS is available.
A discount is given for fees paid on the day.
​We also have Medicare easy claims available to collect your Medicare rebates online on the spot after you pay your account.
MISSED APPOINTMENT/LATE CANCELLATION
Missing an appointment will result in a $45 missed appointment fee ($90 for a missed appointment fee). We also require at least 1 hour notice before cancelling otherwise you may get charged a late cancellation fee of $45​
